Eight Thunder Players In Oilers Rookie Camp

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that seven players from 2006-07 and recently-signed Andy Contois are scheduled to participate in the preseason rookie camp for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.

The Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the Oilers of the NHL and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

Scheduled to be in camp from Stockton are goaltender Devan Dubnyk and right wing Troy Bodie, who both played in the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game, as well as left wings Stephane Goulet, Adam Huxley and Liam Reddox, center Tyler Spurgeon and defenseman Bryan Young, who became the first Thunder player to play in the NHL appearing in 15 games for Edmonton in 2006-07.
