Misiak re-signs with Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D.– The Rapid City Rush, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, announced that second-year forward/defenseman Ryan Misiak has been signed and will return to the Rush for the 2016-17 season.

Misiak returns to Rapid City after splitting time between the Utah Grizzlies and the Rush in 2015-16.  A rookie last season, he spent the first 41 games of the campaign with the Grizzlies and registered 13 (2g-11a).  He was then sent to the Rush in a trade for future considerations and continued his consistent production, providing 16 points (5g-11a) in 28 games with Rapid City.

Prior to turning pro, the native of Shelby Township, Mich. attended Mercyhurst University, where he notched 119 points (45g-74a) in 156 games and was twice named as a second-team All-Conference selection in the AHA.  Additionally, he totaled 75 points (26g-49a) in 109 USHL games with the Sioux Falls Stampede and the Muskegon Lumberjacks, and was named as an All-Star with Muskegon in the 2010-11 season.
