The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Idaho’s Kessy fined, suspended
Idaho’s Kale Kessy has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #96, Idaho at Toledo, on Nov. 2.
Kessy is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 19:27 of the third period.
Kessy will miss Idaho’s games at Toledo (Nov. 3), at Kalamazoo (Nov. 4) and vs. Tulsa (Nov. 7).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Worcester’s McKenzie fined, suspended
Worcester’s Kyle McKenzie has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #98, Adirondack at Worcester, on Nov. 2,
McKenzie is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 17:35 of the first period.
McKenzie will miss Worcester’s game vs. Newfoundland on Nov. 3.

Allen’s Makowski fined
Allen’s David Makowski has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #92, South Carolina at Allen, on Nov. 2.
Makowski was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing under Rule #62.5 at 8:19 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

Rapid City’s Turner fined
Rapid City’s Michael Turner has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #91, Rapid City at Tulsa, on Nov. 2.
Turner is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 6:30 of the second period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
