Williams agrees to terms with Admirals

NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk Admirals announced they have signed defenseman Eric Williams to a contract for the 2020-21 season.

Williams joins the Admirals for the upcoming season after spending his 2019-20 campaign with the Utah Grizzlies. The Newmarket, Ontario product  registered 23 points (7g-16a) with a +19 rating, which was second among Utah defensemen.

The 25-year-old played in two games with the Manchester Monarchs and American Hockey League's Charlotte Checkers in 2018-19 after completing four years at Northeastern University.

From 2013-15, Williams posted 85 points in 104 games with the Ontario Junior Hockey League's Aurora Tigers.
