Swamp Rabbits add Russell

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits announced defenseman Bobby Russell has signed with the team ahead of the 2021-22 season.   Russell, a native of Langley, British Columbia, comes to Greenville after a successful stint in the Western Hockey League with the Spokane Chiefs and Kootenay Ice. He posted 12 points (2g-10a) in a shortened 21-game season in 2020-21 with Spokane. In total, Russell tallie 55 points (14g-41a) in 193 career WHL.
