Americans add local product Crone

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed forward Hank Crone to a contract for the 2022-23 season.

Crone joins the Americans after wrapping up his collegiate career last season at Northern Michigan University where he led the team in scoring with 44 points (13g-31) in 31 games and being nominated for the Hobey Baker Award.

The Cedar Hill, Texas native began his collegiate career by playing one season at Boston Unviersity, and spent two years at the University of Denver before playing his senior season at Northern Michigan.

Crone, who left home at age 16 for the United States Hockey League, was a part of the Dallas Stars Elite program at the Triple A level.
