Cyclones bring back Caporusso

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that the team has re-signed forward Louie Caporusso for the 2022-23 season.Caporusso, 33, enters his 12th professional season having played well over 400 games across six different leagues. After nearly a decade overseas, Caporusso returned to North America to join the Cylones for the 2021-22 campaign where he served as an alternate captain and recorded 66 points (22g-44a) in 67 games to finish third on the team in scoring.

In 447 career professional games, Caporusso has tallied 381 points (152g-229a). Those totals include 171 points (64g-107a) in 161 career ECHL games.

Prior to turning pro, Caporusso compiled 144 points over 160 games at the University of Michigan from 2007-11. As a sophomore, he was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
