Grizzlies re-sign Metcalf

Grizzlies re-sign Metcalf

West Valley City, Utah – Goaltender Garrett Metcalf has re-signed with the Utah Grizzlies for the 2022-23 season.

Metcalf has appeared in 18 games with Utah over the last two seasons, posting an overall record of 9-7-1 with a 2.48 goals-against average and a save percentage of .917. Last season, he saw action in four games with Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League  where he was 2-1-1.

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Metcalf split his college career between UMass-Lowell, Mercyhurt University and Long Island University. He was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
