Pelech moves into second place on ECHL career assists list

Mike Pelech of the Atlanta Gladiators moved into second place on the ECHL's all-time assists list on Thursday when he notched three assists at Savannah to give him 462 career assists.

Pelech, who began his ECHL career with Ontario in 2009-10, trails only 2015 ECHL Hall of Fame inductee Louis Dumont on the League's all-time assists list. Dumont recorded 566 assists over his 12 seasons in the ECHL.

Last month, the 33-year-old set a new ECHL record for career games played when he skated in his 860th career league game. Pelech ranks fourth in ECHL history with 662 career points.
