A native of Rockville, Maryland, Sorkin has recorded 94 points (20g-74a) in 101 career games with Wheeling while adding 26 points (12g-14a) in 85 career American Hockey League games with Hamilton, San Diego and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Prior to turning pro, Sorkin posted 98 points (34g-64a) in 142 career games at the University of New Hampshire.
