Since their inception in 1998, the Florida Everblades have established a reputation as one of the premier organizations in the ECHL. A consistent force on the ice, the Everblades have won the Kelly Cup Championship a league-leading five times. Florida captured its first title in 2012 and won four Kelly Cups over a five-year span in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2026. The Everblades have also claimed the Brabham Cup four times – with the best regular season record in the ECHL – plus have earned eight conference titles, while advancing more than 40 players to the National Hockey League. In addition to a winning tradition on the ice, the Everblades have also built a loyal following throughout Southwest Florida, leading the ECHL in attendance on six occasions. The Blades front office has also been awarded the ECHL ‘Overall Team Award of Excellence’ seven times in 2004, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
