ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that the team’s St. Patrick’s Day jersey auction raised $33,350 that will be divided among six charities. The jerseys with a white shamrock as the crest were auctioned off following the team’s 7-1 win on Tuesday.
The winning bids ranged from $400 to $2,000 which was the winning amount for the jerseys of forwards Keith Anderson and Greg Hornby.
“We’ve always known how generous our fans are when it comes to raising money for charities,” said Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush. “I think this really shows just how dedicated our fans are, not just to the Everblades but to the community where they live.”
