Everblades Staffer Heads To NHL

ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades are proud to announce that Chris Pikosky, who served as the team’s massage therapist, has been hired by the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers and Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Pikosky was a member of the Everblades training staff as the massage therapist since the inception of the organization. The 42 year old will begin his tenure with the Kings as their massage therapist on September 13.

In addition to spending game nights at Germain Arena, Pikosky also carries 16 years of experience of outpatient physical therapy through his business Peak Performance. Outside of hockey, he has also served as massage therapist for national events including the 2003 PGA Franklin Templeton Shark Shootout and the Outback Champions Cup tennis tournaments. Most recently Pikosky served as a massage therapist for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2008 Super Bowl victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Tampa.
