Falcons Agree To Terms With Ciocco, Marcoux, Sawyer

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have agreed to terms with rookie right wing Josh Ciocco, defenseman Justin Sawyer and rookie defenseman Daryl Marcoux.

The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

The 23-year-old Ciocco signed with Wheeling in 2006-07, after completing his college career at the University of New Hampshire, and had one assist and seven penalty minutes in four games with the Nailers.

The 6-foot-3 and 236-pound Sawyer had seven assists and 182 penalty minutes in 54 games as a rookie with the Columbia Inferno in 2006-07 while also playing in the AHL where he had four penalty minutes in two games for Toronto.
