FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they are scheduled to return to Selland Arena beginning with the 2008-09 season.
The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.
Since joining the ECHL as an expansion team in 2003-04, Fresno has played its games at Save Mart Center which opened in 2003 and hosted the ECHL All-Star Game in 2006.
Home to the Falcons when they played in the West Coast Hockey League from 1995-2003, Selland Arena is scheduled to have a new ice-making system and a video scoreboard installed before 2008-09.
