STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, and head coach Matt Thomas announced that the team has agreed to terms with center Jesse Fratkin.
The 6-foot and 180-pound forward posted 11 goals last season, ranking fourth among Thunder rookies and collected 30 points (11g-19a) in 56 games. Fratkin additionally suited up in all eight Kelly Cup Playoff games and scored two goals.
The Burnaby, British Columbia native previously skated in 99 career games in college at Brown University, scoring 32 points (14g-18a) and notching 48 penalty minutes. Fratkin was honored for his commitment in the classroom as a four time honoree (2007-11) on the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.
