Fresno Coach Spenrath Fined, Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has fined Fresno coach Greg Spenrath an undisclosed amount and suspended him for two games as a result of his team’s actions in ECHL Game #207 at San Diego on November 27.

The ECHL announced that it has suspended Fresno left wing Michael Kiesman and Fresno defensemen Thierry Douville and Matt O’Dette as a result of their actions in ECHL Game #207 at San Diego on November 27.

At 18:35 of the third period, Kiesman was assessed a minor penalty for instigator, a major penalty for fighting and two game misconducts.

At 18:39 of the third period, Douville was assessed a minor penalty for aggressor, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct.

At 18:39 of the third period, O’Dette was assessed a minor penalty for instigator, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct.

Kiesman, Douville and O’Dette are each suspended one game under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

Kiesman, Douville and O’Dette will miss Fresno’s game at Bakersfield (Dec. 2).

Spenrath will miss Fresno’s game at Bakersfield (Dec. 2) and at Long Beach (Dec. 4).
