ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Lance Galbraith‘s eight-season odyssey as a pro hockey player has spun him through four different leagues and 11 different cities, and he’s ready to make his most recent stop on that journey his final one.
Galbraith, who last season joined the Alaska Aces late in the regular season and helped propel them to the ECHL’s Kelly Cup Finals with his combination of goal scoring and grit, will return for a second season, the club announced Tuesday.
“I’m really excited to be back,” Galbraith, 29, said by phone from Toronto, Ontario. “I don’t know how much longer I can play. But I told the Aces, ‘If I’m going to play anywhere, it’s there.’
