Goaltender Edward Pasquale has been re-assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League by the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League.
The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Thrashers and Wolves.
Pasquale returns to the Wolves after he appeared in seven games with the Gladiators since being assigned to Gwinnett on Feb. 7. During his last stint with Gwinnett, Pasquale earned a 5-2-0 record and recorded a .894 save percentage.
During his first five games with the Gladiators from Dec. 28 through Jan. 14, he earned a 3.79 goals against average and a .904 save percentage while he posted a 2-2-0 record. Pasquale’s first win with Gwinnett on Dec. 28 and snapped the Gladiators 11-game winless streak from Dec. 2 through Dec. 26. He was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Jan. 16.
Pasquale has appeared in 12 games with the Wolves this season earning a 5-6-0 record while he recorded a 3.10 goals against average and an .895 save percentage.
The 6-foot-2, 218-pound netminder was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft with the 117th overall pick.
