Gladiators Sign Hevey,
Smyth, Sipotz Recalled By Chicago

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have signed goaltender Randy Hevey and also announced that defensemen Brian Sipotz and right wing Adam Smyth have been recalled by Chicago of the American Hockey League.

In two games with Gwinnett over the weekend, Smyth had an assist while Sipotz did not score a point.

Hevey began the season with Mississippi of the ECHL, going 1-1-0 with a goals-against average of 3.88 and a save percentage of .880 in three games, including 22 saves in a 4-3 shootout win against the Gladiators on October 30.
