Goaltender Reiter assigned to Komets

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Fort Wayne Komets announced  that the Bridgeport Sound Tigers have assigned goaltender Kenny Reiter to Fort Wayne.

Reiter served as backup goaltender in both of Bridgeport’s AHL preseason games. Reiter appeared in one game last season with Bridgeport after joining the team on an amateur tryout contract. Reiter, 25, completed three seasons of WCHA play at the University of Minnesota-Duluth last year. His three-year stint at the University included an NCAA Championship in 2011. Reiter is the brother of former Komet netminder Kevin Reiter and is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
