Grand Rapids Signs Former Toledo, Victoria RW Keefe

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed right wing Adam Keefe, who played for Victoria in the ECHL in 2006-07.

The 23 year old had 27 penalty minutes in eight games for Victoria in 2006-07 while also playing in the AHL where he had three assists and 97 penalty minutes in 16 games with Grand Rapids and four points (2g-2a) and 91 penalty minutes in 22 games for Manitoba.

The 5-foot-10 and 195-pound forward had 21 points (10g-11a) and 174 penalty minutes in 28 regular season games and two goals and 50 penalty minutes in 11 games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for Toledo as a rookie in 2005-06 while also playing in the AHL where he had five points (3g-2a) and 158 penalty minutes in 31 games with Manitoba.
