Greenville All-Star St. Pierre
Scores Goal In First AHL Game

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl announced that center Martin St. Pierre has been recalled to Edmonton of the American Hockey League. Greenville is the ECHL affiliate of Edmonton of the AHL and Edmonton of the National Hockey League.

In his first AHL game on Sunday, St. Pierre scored a power-play goal to tie the game 2-2 as Edmonton lost 3-2 in overtime at San Antonio on Sunday.

Under contract to Edmonton of the AHL, the 21-year-old St. Pierre was selected, along with line mate Carl Mallette, to represent the American Conference in the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game on January 26 in Reading, Pa.

In his first professional season, the 5-9 and 180-pound St. Pierre leads ECHL rookies with 28 assists and 38 points and is ranks third among all players in assists and is tied for fourth in scoring.
