WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The first 20 minutes of the 2008-09 season weren’t looking good for the Utah Grizzlies. Utah was struggling last weekend on the penalty kill and gave up two power-play goals to trail Idaho 2-0 in the first period.
But the Grizzlies executed and delivered what head coach Kevin Colley wanted for the remainder of the game.
“They never quit. That’s what we said from Day 1. We don’t worry about the score, just play hard shift after shift,” Colley said. “I want us to be an aggressive, tough hockey team.”
