Grizzlies sign rookie forward Krushelnyski

West Valley City, Utah – Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham announced that the team has signed rookie forward Alex Krushelnyski for the 2014-15 season.

The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League and the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Krushelnyski comes to the Grizzlies after playing four years at Colorado College where he totaled 101 points (42g-59a) in 158 games. In college, he was honored by the WCHA for his academic achievements and finished eighth in the WCHA in scoring during his junior season with 43 points (15g-28a) in 42 games.

He attended Edmonton Oilers Prospects Camp in September and is the son of three-time Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup winner Mike Krushelnyski who won the Cups in 1985, 1987 and 1988 and also as an Assistant Coach with the Detroit Red Wings in 1997.
