GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl announced that they have agreed to terms with right wing John Snowden, forwards Les Haggett and Derek Parker and center Rory McMahon.
Acquired in a three-team trade with Texas and Alaska on August 26, the 23-year-old Snowden ranked third in the ECHL with a career-high and team record 37 goals and led Texas with 18 power-play goals and 62 points while ranking second on the team with 25 assists in 71 games in 2004-05.
Signed by Trenton with 11 games remaining in 2004-05, the 6-foot and 185-pound Haggett earned the ECHL Plus Performer of the Month after having a league-leading plus-minus rating of +8 in April. He played in all 20 Kelly Cup Playoff games scoring eight points (2g-6a) while helping the Titans capture the Kelly Cup.
The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound McMahon played four seasons at the University of North Dakota where he had 83 points (36g-47a) in 158 games.
In 2004-05 with Wichita in the Central Hockey League, the 6-foot-2 and 215-pound Parker had a league-high 47 majors and 503 penalty minutes while scoring 14 points (6g-8a) in 54 regular season games.
