GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl announced that forward Sam Paolini has been loaned to Cleveland of the American Hockey League.
Paolini has two points (1g-1a) and seven penalty minutes in two games with Greenville since being acquired in a trade with Toledo. For the season, Paolini has 47 points (14g-33a) in 56 games.
Previously called up this season by Utah and San Antonio, Paolini has two points (1g-1a) and two penalty minutes in seven AHL games.
In his first professional season in 2003-04, the 24-year-old Paolini scored 46 points (18g-28a) in 63 regular season ECHL games and three points (1g-2a) in four Kelly Cup Playoff games with Atlantic City. He also played in the American Hockey League, scoring one point (0g-1a) in one game with Cleveland and one point (1g-0a) in four games with Rochester.
