Henry re-signs with Thunder

Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s New York Islanders and AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announced the team has re-signed forward James Henry for his second campaign with the club.

Henry, 23, tallied 36 points (14g-22a) in 66 games as a rookie last season and he added three points (2g-1a) in four games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Prior to turning pro, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native spent five seasons in the Western Hockey League with Vancouver and Moose Jaw, as well as one season with the University of Manitoba. Henry recorded 214 points (72g-142a) in 309 career WHL games, while contributing 22 points (8g-14a) in 28 games with the University of Manitoba in 2012-13.
