They’d fought each other on three occasions.
“We talk about it all the time,” Herneisen said with a smile.
As players, Herneisen and Courville were both physical, aggressive and fiercely competitive. They were so similar, really, that it was only natural they’d end up punching each other.
They still debate, lightheartedly, who won those fights.
“We talk about it almost every day,” Courville said. “I think I ended up on top, then he beats me up, then I end up beating him up.”
