Hudson joins Eagles for 2013-14

WINDSOR, Colo. – The
Colorado Eagles announced Wednesday that they have signed Alex Hudson for the 2013-14 season.

The 6-foot, 210-pound forward split time last season between the Bakersfield Condors and the Alaska Aces. The 26-year-old native of Corona, Calif. scored 23 points (14g-9a) in his 59 ECHL games during the 2012-13 campaign. He added five points (4g-1a) in 11 postseason contests with the Aces.

Hudson spent four seasons at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he posted 82 points (37g-45a) in 130 games with the Mavericks. After wrapping up his collegiate career, Hudson notched nine points (2g-7a) in 20 games with the Bakersfield Condors and went on to appear in 15 games in the AHL with the Manchester Monarchs during the 2011-12 season.
