Ice Dogs Acquire Weber From Stockton

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced that they have acquired goaltender Jeff Weber from the Stockton Thunder in exchange for financial considerations.

In the final two months of 2005-06, the 22-year-old Weber was 2-2-2 with a shootout win, two overtime losses, a goals-against average of 3.11 and a save percentage of .915 in seven appearances.

Selected in the eighth round (235th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-3 and 195-pound Weber was 4-21-6 with a goals-against average of 3.64 and a save percentage of .899 in 36 games for Stockton in 2005-06 after going 2-0-0 with a goals-against average of 2.14 and a save percentage of .928 in three games with Atlantic City in his first professional season in 2004-05.
