Ice Dogs, Villeneuve Agree To Terms

The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Steeve Villeneuve.

In 2004-05, his first professional season, Villeneuve was third on the Ice Dogs among defensemen scoring 20 points (5g-15a) in 70 regular season games. The 6-foot and 200 pound Villeneuve finished with 41 penalty minutes and a plus-minus rating of +1.

A native of St. Jerome, Quebec, Villeneuve spent four seasons in the QMJHL, most recently in 2003-04 with Cape-Breton scoring 25 points (4g-21a) in 31 games.
