Ice Pilots Receive Mole From Bridgeport

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have been assigned goaltender Michael Mole from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

The Ice Pilots are the ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers of the AHL and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.

In his rookie season in 2005-06, the 23-year-old, who signed a two-year contract with the Islanders, was 15-27-3 with two shutouts, a goals-against average of 3.26 and a save percentage of .900 in 48 games with Phoenix and 4-3-2 with a goals-against average of 2.62 and a save percentage of .918 in nine games with San Diego.
