IceMen agree to terms with Gendur

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville IceMen announced today that they have agreed to terms with right-wing Dan Gendur for the 2012-13 season.


The IceMen are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets and the American Hockey League’s Springfield Falcons.


Gendur comes to Evansville following his best pro season in 2011-12 when he finished seventh in the Central Hockey League with 73 points (28g-45a) in 62 games with Rio Grande Valley.


A seventh-round selection (206th overall) of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Gendur began his pro career in the ECHL with the Victoria Salmon Kings in 2008-09 tallying 38 points (9g-29a) in 52 games, while also seeing action in 10 American Hockey League games with Manitoba. He has registered 50 points (11g-39a) in 81 career ECHL games with Victoria and Johnstown and has two points (1g-1a) in 20 career AHL games with Manitoba and Milwaukee.
