IceMen sign Kerbashian

Evansville, Ind. – The Evansville IceMen announced that the team has signed right wing Kale Kerbashian for the 2014-15 season.

The IceMen are the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

The 24-year-old has won back-to-back championships with the Central Hockey League’s Allen Americans in 2012-13 and 2013-14. Last season, he posted career highs with 16 goals and 50 points in 54 regular-season games. Kerbashian made his pro debut with the Wheeling Nailers in 2009-10, notching three points (2g-1a) in four games. In 2011-12, he appeared in 32 games with the Greenville Road Warriors, scoring eight goals and adding seven assists. Overall, the Thunder Bay, Ontario native has recorded 91 points (38g-53a) in 127 pro games.

Prior to turning pro, Kerbashian played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with London, Missiauga and Sarnia, scoring 207 points (87g-120a) in 252 games.
