BOISE, Idaho (Ticker) — Jan Kopecky scored twice to help the Idaho Steelheads beat the Gwinnett Gladiators in the third gameof the Western Conference Finals. Kopecky opened the scoring3:51 into the second period and netted his sixth goal of theplayoffs 4:23 later for a 2-0 advantage. Andrei Vasilyev added agoal with 5:57 left in the contest for Idaho, which leads theseries two games to one. Dan Ellis finished with 31 saves toimprove to 8-2 in the postseason. Anthony Aquino scored with6:18 remaining in the second period for Gwinnett. Michael Garnettmade 26 saves in the loss.
