Dallas Assigns Lammers To Steelheads

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League have assigned left wing John Lammers to Idaho.

Idaho is the ECHL affiliate of the Stars.

The Steelheads also announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Craig Cescon and that left wing Derek Paget has been invited to training camp.

Drafted in the third round (86th overall) by Dallas in the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Stars, the 22-year-old Lammers has played each of his first two professional seasons with Idaho. He had 43 points (27g-16a) in 36 regular season games and three assists in four Kelly Cup Playoff games in 2007-08 after scoring 19 points (7g-12a) in 22 games to help the Steelheads win the Kelly Cup as a rookie in 2006-07.
