Inferno, Rookie Brouillette Agree To Terms

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Columbia Inferno announced that they have agreed to terms with rookie defenseman Julien Brouillette.

The Inferno are the ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

The 20 year old has played each of the last four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he had 123 points (27g-96a) and 206 penalty minutes in 227 regular season games and 19 points (6g-13a) and 39 penalty minutes in 48 playoff games for Chicoutimi.

In the last two seasons, the 5-foot-11 and 185-pound defenseman had 105 points (20g-85a) and 138 penalty minutes in 138 regular season games, including career highs with 43 assists and 53 points in 2006-07.
