Bourbeau, 29, returns to Elmira for his third season with the Jackals. Last year, Bourbeau served as the Jackals’ captain and put up career highs in goals (20), assists (18), points (38) and games played (64). He also added a goal in six Kelly Cup playoff games. His efforts earned him a six game call up to the American Hockey League’s Binghamton Senators.
The 6-0, 200-pound forward from Bonnyville, Alberta has suited up for 113 regular season games with the Jackals since 2011. He has produced 64 points (30g-34a) and 110 penalty minutes in that time with an additional six points (4g-2a) in 16 playoff contests.
