Jackals receive pair from Rochester

ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and the AHL’s Rochester Americans, announced that defensemen Spiro Goulakos and Josh Chapman have been loaned to Elmira from Rochester.

Goulakos, 25, has appeared in one contest with the Americans this season and posted a +1 rating. The Montreal, Quebec native was a two-time captain at Colgate University, accruing 71 points (22g-49a) and 176 penalty minutes in 130 NCAA games.

Chapman, 20, has also appeared in one game with Rochester and logged four penalty minuted to go along with a +1 rating. The Stouffville, Ontario native skated in 180 games for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League prior to turning pro and recorded 25 points and 321 penalty minutes.
