The Elmira Jackals will be spreading holiday cheer throughout the community this week, starting off with a visit to St. Joseph’s Hospital today during which Jackals players will donate teddy bears and toys to children.
The St. Joseph’s Hospital appearance begins at 3 p.m. today as the Jackals will present to children teddy bears and toys collected during Friday’s Teddy Bear Toss Night and Saturday’s Toys for Children Night at First Arena.
Following Tuesday’s hospital visit, the Jackals will trek to Jubilee Foods in Horseheads, helping shoppers to their cars from 6 to 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, the Jackals will visit Glove House at 4:30 p.m. to meet with local area children and their families.
The Jackals will ring bells for the Salvation Army at Kmart Plaza in Horseheads from 4 to 6 p.m. this Thursday.
