JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that the team has acquired defenseman Brett Peterson from the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and that it has signed forward Peter Trovato. Peterson and Trovato are both expected to be in the lineup on Thursday when the Chiefs host Peoria.
In his first professional season, the 23-year-old Peterson has scored three goals and nine points in 56 games with Atlantic City.
The 23-year-old Trovato just completed his college career at the University of Massachusetts, registering 10 assists while appearing in all 38 games. The 6-0 and 210-pound Trovato, who set school records for games played and consecutive games played, scored 35 points (13g-22a) in 145 career games.
