Kelly Cup Champions Raise Over $200,000 For Charity

BOISE, Idaho – The Kelly Cup champion Idaho Steelheads announced that they helped raise more than $200,000, including donating $77,290 in tickets and merchandise, for schools and non-profit organizations in 2006-07.

The team also collected sports equipment and books as well as gathering and distributing 2,700 coats to homeless and impoverished families through the Boise Rescue Mission.

The fifth-annual Pepsi Jersey Auction to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association raised $14,340, bringing the five-year total for the Steelheads/Pepsi Jersey Auction to $52,465.
