LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League announced that they have re-signed left wing Jeff Giuliano, who began his professional career in the ECHL with the Reading Royals.
The Reading Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Kings of the NHL and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.
The 28 year old had 30 points (7g-23a) in 38 games with Reading as a rookie in 2002-03 while also playing for Manchester of the AHL where he had 15 points (4g-11a) in 47 regular season games and one goal in three playoff games.
The 5-foot-9 and 205-pound Giuliano had 14 points (4g-10a) and 27 penalty minutes in 35 regular season games for Manchester and six points (3g-3a) in 16 playoff games for Manchester in 2006-07.
He made his NHL debut with the Kings on Nov. 5, 2005 and has seven points (3g-4a) in 48 games in the NHL, all with Los Angeles.
