Knopp Assigned To Bombers
Tessier Returned To Juniors

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that Ben Knopp has been assigned to the team from Syracuse of the American Hockey League and that Michael Tessier has been returned to his junior team. Knopp is expected to be in the lineup on Wednesday when Dayton plays at Wheeling.

Selected in the third round (69th overall) by Columbus in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to Syracuse, the 22-year-old Knopp has four penalty minutes in five games with Syracuse and five points (3g-2a) and 19 penalty minutes in seven games with the Bombers.

Selected in the third round (76th overall) by Buffalo in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Tessier scored six points (3g-3a) in 14 games with the Bombers.
