Lake Erie Assigns Zanoski To Gladiators

Forward Tom Zanoski has been assigned to the Gwinnett Gladiators from the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.


Zanoski has earned six points (2g-4a) in 21 games with the Monsters this season. He had an AHL career best two points, both assists, for Lake Erie on November 17th against Grand Rapids.


The Brampton, Ontario, native returns to Gwinnett where he collected 47 points (25g-22a) in 47 games last year with the Gladiators. He also earned six call-ups to the American Hockey League last season to five different AHL teams. He scored six points (2g-4a) in 23 AHL games last season.


Zanoski was first acquired by the Gladiators in a trade with the Dayton Bombers on Jan. 30, 2009.  The 5-foot-11, 195-pound forward earned 21 points (8g-13a) in 31 games with the Gladiators in the 2008-09 season. He also had eight points (3g-5a) in five Kelly Cup Playoff Games in the 2009 post season.
