Lake Erie recalls Cyclones’ Aubin

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward Mathieu Aubin has been recalled to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Aubin, a fifth-year pro, will make his second trip to Northeast Ohio this season. In early February, he skated in a pair of games with the Monsters but did not record any points or penalty minutes. The Sorel, Quebec native has logged 71 career games in the AHL, amassing 11 goals and 12 assists in that span.

For the Cyclones this year, Aubin is currently the team-leader in points (45), goals (18), and multi-point games (11). The 24 year old ranks third in the Cyclones franchise record book in both career points (145) and goals (61).
