LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have traded center Rejean Stringer to the Peoria Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.
The 5-10 and 185-pound Stringer has played in all 19 games for Las Vegas and is tied for the team lead with 11 assists and tied for second in scoring with 14 points.
In 2002-03 while playing for Columbia, Stringer was selected to the All-ECHL Second Team and was awarded the ECHL Sportsmanship Award while also being named the ECHL winner of the Professional Hockey Players’ Association “Ironman Award”. Stringer had career professional highs in goals, assists and points, breaking the team record of 26 goals while breaking his own team records for assists (43) and points (57). Named as a starter in the 2003 ECHL All-Star Game, Stringer assisted on both of the Southern Conference’s goals.
