PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that team president Claude Lemieux will come out of retirement for Tuesday’s inaugural Blue-White Game at 6:30 p.m. at the Alltel Ice Den in North Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tickets are general admission and cost $5 which includes a free RoadRunners T-Shirt.
The 39-year-old Lemieux is familiar with Phoenix having played for the Coyotes of the NHL from 2000-03. Making his NHL debut in 1983-84 with Montreal, Lemieux played the next 18 years in the NHL with Canadiens, New Jersey, Colorado and Dallas. He scored 785 points (379g-406a) in 1,197 NHL regular season games and 158 points (80g-78a) in 233 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
