Linsmayer added to Idaho roster

Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Rob Linsmayer.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars and the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars.

Linsmayer, 25, will be entering his third professional season with the Steelheads. Over the first two, the Holy Cross College product skated in 74 total games with Idaho, scoring 44 points (20g-24a). He missed much of last season with an injury but, once cleared, he picked up 11 points (3g-8a) in 17 games with a +10 rating. Two of his three goals were game-winning tallies.

A native of Winnetka, Ill., Linsmayer tallied 100 points (31g-69a) in 150 career games at Holy Cross from 2009-13.
